1. Who We Are
For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”), the data fiduciary is ShaSmit Developers, a partnership initiative with Jasmino Corporation Limited, with its registered office at:

References in this policy to “we”, “us”, “our”, and “Cerulean Alibaug” are to the foregoing entity. References to “you” and “your” are to any individual whose personal data is processed in connection with this website.
2. Information We Collect
We collect personal data only when you provide it to us through this website. Specifically:
- Contact form data — your name, phone number, email address, your stated interest, and any free-text message you choose to share.
- Pricing-request data — your email address when you request the current pricing schedule.
- Brochure-download data — none. The brochure is downloadable without any form.
- Technical data — your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the referring URL, and the pages of our website you visit. This is captured automatically by standard web server logs for security and statistical purposes.
- Communication records — if you reach us by WhatsApp, telephone, or email, we retain the conversation in line with our records of communication with you.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (financial, health, biometric, religious, or caste information) through this website. Please do not include such information in messages to us.
3. Purpose of Collection
The personal data described above is collected and processed exclusively for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a private presentation of the Cerulean Alibaug project.
- To share, on your request, the pricing schedule, brochure, walkthroughs, and other project material.
- To send you notifications relating to your enquiry by SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, email, or telephone, subject to your consent.
- To comply with our obligations under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, the Income-tax Act, 1961, the Goods and Services Tax Acts, and other applicable laws.
- To improve the website, diagnose technical issues, and protect the website against fraud and abuse.
4. Lawful Basis & Consent
Personal data is processed only after we obtain your consent through the consent box on the contact form, the explicit submission of the pricing-request form, or where the processing is necessary for the performance of a legitimate function under applicable law. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to our Grievance Officer at the address below. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.
5. Sharing of Personal Data
We share your personal data only as expressly stated in the consent paragraph on the contact form and only with:
- Our partners, including Jasmino Corporation Limited, who jointly market the Cerulean Alibaug project.
- Service providers acting on our behalf for customer-relationship management, communication, hosting, analytics, payment processing, and similar functions, bound by written confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Regulatory authorities and courts of competent jurisdiction, where disclosure is required by law.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for that third party’s independent marketing purposes.
6. Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or for the period required by applicable law. Enquiry data is retained for three (3) years from the date of the last meaningful interaction unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Booking and ownership records are retained for the longer of (a) seven (7) years from the date of handover, or (b) such period as is prescribed under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, the Income-tax Act, 1961, and the rules thereunder.
7. Your Rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data:
- Right of access — to obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and the processing activities undertaken.
- Right to correction & erasure — to request correction of inaccurate data and erasure of data that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
- Right of grievance redressal — to file a grievance with our Grievance Officer in respect of any processing of your personal data.
- Right to nominate — to nominate an individual to exercise the foregoing rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.

8. Cookies & Tracking
This website uses only the minimum technical cookies required for the site to function and a Cloudflare Turnstile cookie for spam protection on the contact form. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. Should we introduce such cookies in the future, this policy will be updated and your consent will be requested at first visit.
9. Security
We maintain reasonable security practices and procedures, including transport-layer encryption (HTTPS) for all data in transit, access controls on our customer-relationship systems, and regular backups of enquiry data. No method of transmission over the Internet, however, is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
This website is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from, individuals under the age of eighteen (18). If you believe that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a minor, please write to the Grievance Officer below and we will delete it.
11. Cross-Border Transfers
Personal data of Non-Resident Indian buyers is processed in India. Where data is transferred to service providers outside India, the transfer is subject to the safeguards prescribed by the DPDP Act and applicable rules.

A grievance will be acknowledged within 24 hours of receipt and resolved within 30 days, in line with the timelines prescribed under the DPDP Act.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be available at this URL with the “Last updated” date at the top reflecting the date of the most recent revision. Material changes will be brought to your attention by reasonable means, including an email if we have one on record for you.
